Crewed aviation, by introduction
Some jobs need an aircraft with a crew in it. We do not sell aircraft, do not operate them, and never hold the certificates; the operators do. What we offer here is the thing we are good at everywhere else: understanding a mission in plain language, mapping it to the class of aviation that does that work, and introducing you to a professional operator after confirming their interest and availability. Introductions are how we work in this tier, and introductions to attorneys and specialists remain free and neutral, always.
Two bright lines, stated up front. We never arrange transportation of passengers: no charters, no crew shuttles, no flying people anywhere, because arranging passenger air transportation is a separately regulated brokerage activity and we stay out of it entirely. And we never determine that an operation is legal or approved; the operators hold the certificates and the specialists make the calls.
Helicopter external load and precision lift
Setting HVAC units on roofs, placing towers and poles in places cranes cannot reach, powerline stringing, logging, concrete to mountaintops. A helicopter with a longline is a crane that ignores terrain.
When it fits: The load is under a few tons, the site defeats ground cranes, or the schedule cannot absorb road building.
Have ready: Load weights and dimensions, site photos, distances from staging to placement, and the date flexibility that lets an operator fit you into a ferry-efficient route.
Fixed wing survey and mapping
Large area orthophoto, LiDAR and corridor mapping from crewed aircraft: counties, coastlines, pipelines, transmission corridors. Where drone mapping ends at site scale, survey aircraft take over at region scale.
When it fits: The area is measured in townships rather than acres, or a corridor runs hundreds of miles.
Have ready: The area of interest as a file, the accuracy and deliverable standard, and the season constraints that determine flying windows.
Geophysical survey flights
Airborne magnetics, electromagnetics, gravity and radiometrics for mineral exploration, groundwater and geotechnical work, flown with towed birds and stingers by a small population of specialist operators.
When it fits: Exploration or subsurface programs where ground geophysics would take seasons.
Have ready: Survey block coordinates, line spacing and sensor requirements from your geophysicist, and the target commodity or question.
Powerline and pipeline patrol
Scheduled corridor patrol by helicopter or fixed wing: visual, thermal, leak detection and LiDAR vegetation encroachment programs across systems too long for anything else.
When it fits: Regulated patrol schedules, post storm assessment at system scale, or vegetation management programs.
Have ready: System maps, patrol frequency requirements, and what your compliance program requires as evidence.
Aerial application
Crewed agricultural aviation: spraying, seeding, spreading, and forestry and public health applications, flown by certificated ag operators.
When it fits: Acreage and timing beat ground rigs, or terrain and crop stage rule ground equipment out.
Have ready: Field maps, the product and label, timing windows, and sensitive area boundaries.
Sensor and equipment test flights
Flying your prototype sensor, antenna, camera or pod on a crewed aircraft with power, mounts and an operator used to experimental payloads. The fastest way to get flight data before committing to a platform.
When it fits: Development programs needing hours aloft, altitude profiles, or targets of opportunity without building an aircraft program.
Have ready: Payload size, weight, power and mounting needs, the flight profile you need flown, and data recording requirements.
High altitude balloon payloads
Stratospheric flights for research payloads, long dwell sensing and near space testing, through operators who handle launch, tracking and recovery.
When it fits: Altitude requirements above aircraft, long dwell over an area, or near space environment testing on a budget.
Have ready: Payload mass and envelope, altitude and dwell targets, and recovery constraints.
Atmospheric sampling and research flights
Instrumented aircraft flying plumes, emissions, air quality transects and research profiles, with inlets and instruments the operators know how to fly correctly.
When it fits: Emissions studies, incident response sampling, and research campaigns.
Have ready: The measurement requirement from your scientists, the airspace areas involved, and campaign timing.
Aerial cinematography and documentation
Crewed camera platforms with stabilized systems for work beyond drone envelopes: long chases, high altitudes, offshore distances, and productions with aviation coordinators.
When it fits: The shot outruns what a drone can legally or physically fly.
Have ready: The shot list, locations, and the production's insurance requirements.
Wildlife and environmental survey
Aerial counts, telemetry tracking, marine mammal observation and habitat survey flown to established protocols by operators who work with agencies and researchers.
When it fits: Survey protocols specify aerial methods, or the geography defeats ground teams.
Have ready: The protocol or study design, the survey windows, and permit context from your biologists.
Buying or selling a specialized aircraft
When a program justifies owning a survey aircraft, an ag aircraft or a helicopter, that purchase runs through dealers, brokers and inspectors who live in that market. We are not aircraft dealers and take no commission on aircraft sales; we make introductions to people who are, and to the attorneys who paper such deals.
When it fits: Utilization arithmetic says owning beats hiring, which is a math conversation we will have honestly first.
Have ready: The mission profile, annual hours you can realistically generate, and your appetite for operating versus contracting the flying.
Renting or leasing mission aircraft
Between hiring flights and buying aircraft sits leasing: dry leases of equipped survey and utility aircraft, and wet arrangements where the operator's crew flies your program. Structures matter enormously here, including who holds operational control, and that is exactly the kind of thing aviation counsel confirms.
When it fits: A season long program, a campaign, or a bridge while a purchase decision matures.
Have ready: Program duration and hours, the equipment requirement, and whether you have flight crew or need the operator's.
