The Steel Collar robot and aircraft matrix
The same matrix the concierge on this site searches, published as a dataset anyone may use and cite: manufacturer-published payload, reach, runtime and protection ratings, the application each machine is built for, whether we have checked the figure against the maker's own specification table, when, and where. No prices, no rankings, no opinions, just the figures and their provenance.
Downloads
- robot-matrix.json and robot-matrix.csv: 729 ground machines.
- aircraft-matrix.json and aircraft-matrix.csv: 46 inspection and survey aircraft.

What the fields mean
Every figure is a manufacturer claim. verified_against_manufacturer is true when a person on our team has checked the row against the maker's current specification table; checked is the date; spec_source is the page we read. Rows marked not verified are leads, not facts. payload_kg is rated payload at the wrist before tooling. reach_mm is the maker's stated reach. runtime_min applies to mobile robots, floor machines and aircraft. applications are the jobs we rank the machine for, in our own vocabulary. note is a short plain-language description written by us.
What is deliberately missing
Prices, because the honest number comes from the maker at quote time. Rankings, because fit depends on your part, your rate and your floor. Our integrator bench, because those firms are introduced only after they agree to it. Humanoid robots are tracked but presented as not purchasable, because with almost no dealer channel we will not present them that way.
How to cite it
